Harrison Braxton, Psy.D.
Dr. Braxton specializes in therapy with children, adolescents, and families for problems such as anxiety, depression, and acting-out behaviors. “There is little that is more professionally rewarding than seeing a young person develop or regain a sense of hope, purpose, and self-confidence,” he says. Dr. Braxton has a breadth of experience with children and adolescents, having previously worked in a wilderness-based residential program, a therapeutic boarding school, in school, community, and home-based settings, as well as in traditional clinics. He is currently on staff at the Capital District Psychiatric Center where he provides consultation and evaluation services to area probation and social services agencies.
